All About Noa!

Noa Berman is an illustrator and character designer currently based in New York City. She likes to use art to find happiness in little things and humor in unpleasant things, and she hopes her art can make other people smile too.

Noa holds a BA in biopsychology from the University of Michigan, but has been self teaching for over two years as well as taking classes through SVA's continuing education program. Her eventual dream is to do visual development for either a slice-of-life coming-of-age story (a la Luca, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc) or any animated musical.

 

Some other cool non-art related stuff about Noa:

1. She loves musicals (her all time favorites are In the Heights and Fiddler on the Roof, but her current favorite is probably Hadestown).

2. She spent two semesters in school working in a lab studying chimp cognition.

3. She can speak backwards.
